السلطات الكرديه المحتله في دهوك تقوم بمنع الآشوريين من تسمية اعمالهم التجاريه و محالهم بأسماء آشوريه او حتى برفع علامات و قطع تستخدم فيها اللغه الآشوريه على واجهات محلاتهم .
المشكله
التي تواجه الآشورريين في تسمية محالهم التجاريه هي اجبارهم على ان يختاروا اما اللغه الكرديه او الانكليزيه فقط ،
و هذا الوضع شبيه لزمن النظام السابق حيث كان الآشوريون مجبرون على استخدام الاسماءالعربيه
بديلا عن الاسماء الآشوريه .

Assyrians from naming their businesses and shops Assyrian names or putting up
signs using the Assyrian language on the front of their stores
The problem facing the Assyrians in naming their shops trade
names using the Assyrian language was to choose between the Kurdish or English
languages only, a situation similar to the former regime at a time when the
Assyrians were forced to use Arabic instead of Assyrian names
